Doll Dress

Okay, I'll admit that I'm a sucker for making tiny things. My daughter has a friend that is really into American Girl dolls and her birthday is next week. I could have gone to the local store and buy her a toy but I tend to lean towards making something myself. As luck would have it, I have a pattern for 18" doll dresses. Of course I have lots of fabric stash too......

I am really happy with the results. I hope she will be too.

  2. Hi Vicki! I enjoyed reading your blog entries this evening. I will continue to check it out. I have been making aprons for gifts and I loved your work apron. I will have to make one for myself when I have some time to sew form ME! Which won't happen until July. When my daughters were married ( I have 3 of them.) I made the flower girl dresses and matching American Girl doll dresses and matching tote bags for all in the bridal party. The doll dresses made great thank you gifts for my daughters to give there special little wedding attendants. The pillow boys recieved teddy bears with little tuxes! So much fun. Your work is precious, and I will await other good ideas. Hopefully I will have some to share as well!
